This Hotel of family atmosphere is placed inside the Royal citadel of the Alhambra; at not more than 100 meters from the famous court of the lions and the different gates of the monument.

        The building was built at beginning of the XIX century as summer residence. The orientation towards south and the garden produces a delicious temperature in summer. There are still kept from the old house the wooden staircase and the dinning room. The building belongs to Garzón family since 1935; it was then when Mr. Nicolas Garzón bought the house founding The Hotel America. The name America is due to the Iberoamerican Exhibition in Seville in 1929.
